Marc I. Rickles
Marc I. Rickles, a Partner of Kardos, Rickles & Hand, P.C., is a trial attorney focusing his practice on family law and criminal law defense, both state and federal. A Bucks County native, Mr. Rickles graduated from Neshaminy High School, the University of Georgia and Temple Law School.
Mr. Rickles began working full-time as an Assistant District Attorney in Bucks County upon graduation from law school where he gained invaluable experience doing trial work. He was able to moon-light while working in the DA’s Office doing private work in divorce law on his own time. After serving the District Attorney’s Office, he began working for a small Bucks County Law Firm where he further honed his trial skills. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Rickles started his own practice concentrating on criminal defense, family law and other trial matters.
Mr. Rickles has a vast amount of experience in litigating family law matters including divorce, custody, support and equitable distribution of property, child custody relocation and protection from abuse. Mr. Rickles’ trial experience proves invaluable in especially contentious cases. Mr. Rickles represents his clients in court several days a week and fights for his clients and their rights under the law. He appreciates what his clients want, need and are fighting for. Mr. Rickles has much more trial experience than most of the lawyers he faces in family law courtrooms. Mr. Rickles was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in Family Law in both 2018 and 2019.
Mr. Rickles criminal practice includes both state and federal defense work. He has extensive experience in trying all types of cases, from capital murder to DUI.
Mr. Rickles is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and before the U.S. District Court of Pennsylvania, U.S. District Court of New Jersey, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. Tax Court and the United States Supreme Court.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Rickles enjoys swimming, tennis, sailing and spending time with his family.
